    1. CASE UPDATE: POST-RELEASE SUPERVISION - Convictions for Identity Theft & Larceny

      LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. – On 10/11/23, Jacqueline Carolyn Dobson was arrested by KPD and convicted in Lenoir County Superior Court. She entered Guilty Pleas to both felony offenses. Following violations during her probationary term, Dobson was ordered to serve a three-month Confinement in Response to Violation beginning July 1, 2025, and concluding September 29, 2025. She remains under the active supervision of the North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections, Division of Community Corrections. Her Post-Release Supervision continues until 03/31/2026.See more...

      PITT COUNTY, N.C. – Arrested by multiple agencies, WANTED in Lenoir County by KPD, Joshue Javon Ellison was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office on 07/27/2023. By 05/21/2024 the Lenoir County DA's Office had dismissed all charges pursuant to a plea agreement. However, Ellison was arrested by Pitt County Sheriff's Office on 08/17/2025.       LENOIR COUNTY / PITT COUNTY, N.C. – Initially arrested 04/27/2023, for Assault by Strangulation, the felony charge was dismissed pursuant to a guilty plea for misd. assault on a female. Dwain Devon Perry received an active sentence of 50 days on 02/09/2024. He is currently out on bond in Pitt County, awaiting further court action on charges of - Second-Degree Kidnapping, - Assault with a Deadly Weapon and other DV misd-related charges. Detained in multiple county jails whilst awaiting a court appearance, his charges were voluntarily dismissed by the LC DA under a plea agreement.
